I’m an interaction designer and MFA Interaction Design candidate at the School of Visual Arts.
My areas of focus and expertise are user experience design, service design, content strategy, design research, and community engagement. I am passionate about tackling complex systems and working on social impact projects.
For my thesis project, I'm designing a supportive network that helps small business owners build a team in their neighborhood. I’m developing a set of tools and engaging activities to build empathy, spark collaboration and inspire action. This toolkit helps business owners in connecting and guides them on how to work together to find solutions for their shared business’ challenges.
This past summer I was a service design apprentice at the Service Design Studio of the Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity. Previously, I was the Art Director at Americas Quarterly, a nonprofit policy and culture magazine focused on Latin America.
I was born and raised in Porto Alegre, a city in the south of Brazil. I moved to NYC to study at the City College of New York, where I received a BA in Electronic Design and Multimedia from The City College of New York.
In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, reading Jane Austen’s novels and mystery books, going to the beach, and traveling to historical sites.
